Santa Clarita has been my home for over 30 years, and I love living here and serving this community! I am from Lima, Peru, where I did my dental training at Cayetano Heredia University. After completing my DDS I moved to the United States to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham for both my orthodontics residency and Master of Science in Oral Biology. Following my educational years, I worked in Cincinnati, Ohio for two years prior to coming to California and eventually finding a place to call home in Santa Clarita. My three kids all grew up here and I can’t believe one of them is now working with me! I truly love my job and my patients, and I am so grateful to be able to do what I do!

I was born and raised in Santa Clarita and I am proud to call the SCV my home. I went to Hart High School before attending the University of Southern California for my undergraduate studies. After college I made the move across town to the UCLA School of Dentistry to earn my DDS. Immediately following UCLA I went across the country to complete my orthodontics residency training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where I completed a Master of Science in Orthodontics as well. After three great years in Ann Arbor, I settled back home in Santa Clarita to work at this practice with my mom. Being able to learn from my mom is priceless, and I’m excited to team up with her to be the best orthodontists we can be for our patients!

Hi my name is Patricia but everyone calls me Patty. I am an RDA and have been working with Dr. Miyamoto since 1999. Outside of the office I love spending time with family and friends and doing outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.
